industry and a growing appetite for innovation in other areas of design. For

Nomi Ansari
Nomi Ansari, who was born in Karachi, belongs from a

One of Pakistan's most famous designers, Deepak Perwani has
changed the face of menswear in the country with a new confident style. Besides
fashion industry, Perwani is a talented drama & film actor and also as
the country's cultural ambassador to China and Malaysia. Today, the brand also
includes women's wear and accessories, specializing in weddings, formal and
evening dresses. His creations have received multiple prizes, including a spot
in the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest kurta. Made to fit a 175
foot tall person, kurta weighed 800 kilos and used an 800 meter cotton mix. Later
with donations to children's NGOs, the Edhi Foundation, fewer kurtas would be
created from the original.

Start as a small sewing in Lahore, Maria.B. the label has
grown enormously to become one of Pakistan's largest brand brands. Maria Butt
founded the company with the objective of redefining shopping in the country by

evidenced by the presence of more than 25 independent outlets in Pakistan,
